Whenever I watch Hayward highlights I get real sentimental about skip passes off drives.
I would give up that package in a heartbeat
Makes sense for Boston too. I think favors would look great with the Celtics and it would clear up their logjam at the wings while also giving them a draft pick (which they love) and a potential player.

If Ainge called me I would tell him to kindly f himselfNice big wing defender who has to be respected from deep.
Unhappy with his role, bad fit on his current team, tons of talent. All time low trade value (still a hefty price I’m sure).
What would it take? Are you interested? What do the Celtics want?

Hayward is trash, so unless those are lottery picks, I don't see how that'd get it done. I'm sure they prefer Brown over Hayward's crippled old *** for 30m per.
Yeah I'm kinda with LoPo on this one. It's not necessarily Gordon or Vucevic's fault that the Magic have been nothing more than lottery fodder the past 5 years or so with the bad PGs, bad wings and the inconsistent coaching they've had, but if you're paying Gordon 19 mil next year and then you decide to give Vuc 15+mil, that's a lot of money to have tied up in that frontcourt where you've also drafted two prospects in Bamba and Isaac who are on team controlled rookie deals that offer more potential since you already know what you're getting from Vuc, and AG doesn't really seem to be progressing the way the Magic would have hoped for as a franchise cornerstone. Seems to be more like the 3rd best guy on a championship team quality player, but it is worth mentioning that AG has a frontloaded contract so his final year is actually only around 16 mil which is pretty decent. In a career year for Vuc, the Magic still stink. Vucevic is unrestricted. Orlando holds zero leverage unless they want to break the bank. They would be so unwise to pay him top dollar to stay.
And give up on Bamba that quickly? Cmon

Still not over him after two years?
More. No doubt. This is a pipe dream. He is an IDEAL fit next to DM. Young, explosive, good defender, good shooter. It would take Exum, Favors and a 1st rounder.
I think his situation is an interesting quandary. Nobody else would deal for him, as you mention, but how do you make a deal for someone without using him as salary? Would a team on the receiving end even take a deal like that? I suppose over the summer, he'd then be a two-year contract. Is Boston stuck with him, as in, would they deal him if they didn't have to give up assets but didn't take salary back? My assumption is no, but at what point is his contract hindering? Also Hayward might be one of the most untradeable contracts in the league right now, 29.7/31.2/32.7 and then a player option of 34.1 mil left on his contract, plus there's a 15% trade kicker on his deal. I do think Hayward will turn it around at some stage and consistently play close to the level he was at before leaving Utah, but I don't think there's a team in the league that would deal for him right now unless they were getting some serious compensation back and Ainge wouldn't do that.
