You got a back it up with facts and of course, neither team knew what it would be, but my point is usually when there’s been smoke around the jazz being involved in trades, there has been no fire to back up the case. of course they’re going to come out and say the jazz are interested in a player and that’s going to be true. You can see that about any team in the league. That’s not considered a “leak”.

The Collins trade, yes they talked about us being interested in him. They didn’t say that we were going to trade for him. In any case the Collins trade is a minor trade. You’re right. A lot of us were, but that doesn’t equate to the Jazz not being close lipped about what they’re doing. We knew for years that they wanted John Collins and it happened. I’m just saying that the jazz have been pretty good about keeping secrets when it comes to trades. That’s all.
