Jazz Sign Royce O'Neale

Interesting
Another Baylor guy
What are his euro stats
Can he shoot the ball
His Vegas stats seem bad
How will Jazz use him

This was the big move we've all been waiting for. Puts them over the top. Durant-stopper and 3PT specialist. If Draymond Green could be anyone else, he'd be Royce O'Neale.

Seriously, does the team need another 6'6"player? Utah needs size at SF. And now Utah is at 16 - unless they don't bring back Raul, which is unlikely, Jazz will still need a 3rd PG. A 2-for-1 trade on the horizon?

Neto? Or Bolomboy? If it really is a guaranteed contract, I'd assume one of them is gone.

Now I really wish the Jazz would have gone after Mbah a Moute if they were going to add another wing.

This is very puzzling. I've never seen the guy play but his SL stats are extremely underwhelming. Based on stats, he's a G-League scrub.

This is weird. I didn't expect us to give him guaranteed money. We have 16 players under contract right now. Only Neto is non-guaranteed. I think it will be between Neto, O'Neale and Bolomboy for who gets waived after training camp.

I can see why they would want another wing considering Hood and Burks do have some injury history.

I would wait for contract details from one of the bigger reporters though.

I'd imagine this is one of those wink-wink deals where he gets guaranteed money, we cut him after camp and he signs with the Stars.

Bizarre. He was very minimally-skilled from what I recall of watching him at Baylor. There is no doubt this dude can be good if he learns how to shoot and dribble, and lifts some weights, but that's a lot to ask, and it's a long process. If true, this must be a signing purely based on the hopes of developing this guy into a capable NBA wing. Also, they must be encouraged by whatever he's done the last couple years.

Mostly, he attended Baylor for a while, so... welcome to the Jazz
