So people are saying the argument against Trump would be the power he obtains with unilateral decisions he can make (souring foreign relations, him nuking someone if that's your belief, etc.) Regarding actually advancing or changing anything, he's up against the house and the senate who dislike him on both sides. Then the media who do not like him. Unless, of course, one would be afraid of the power he could inherit from the precedents set under Obama of the expansion of power of the executive branch that everyone has defended as his right for the past 8 years.

Question: who taps the breaks on a Clinton presidency?

I don't know who has said that. I said hyperbolically that a worst case under trump is someone somewhere drops a nuke. Maybe North Korea or Isis, worst case Russia. But trumps potential for causing real damage is staggeringly higher than Billary's.

As a former member of the U.S. military I would gladly serve under President Hillary Clinton.

I would fear for my life and the future of the U.S. if serving under Trump.

Kind of the end of the story for me.

You can call her crooked all you want, she's been under investigation for the last 25 years. She hasn't been caught. That's the mind I want directing my nation. You could have gone after her incompetence, it's there. But you want to tell me how big a liar she is? Well, she might tell her lies, only problem using that as the main strategy against her, she has never been caught in any of them.

Trump is smart not paying taxes? Yeah, that's kiddie stuff. He's soooo smart.

Hillary Clinton has never been caught in any of her lies and she's been public enemy #1 for the Republicans for 25 years. She is a unique level of genius if she's as big a liar as her opponents say she is. She's just the most competent politician in the last century if she isn't a liar.

I'm kind of hoping we luck out and she's actually a liar and thus proves that she's one of the greatest political minds in the history of mankind. We deserve nothing less after having to listen to Trump's campaign.

Why do you believe him when he talked about that, as compared to what I'm assuming are the multitude of things where you don't believe him?

Personally, i just don't believe anything he says. I find it easier that way, and probably more realistic.
