Never Trump

Depressing. Pretty much matches all of my own conclusions from watching and reading a ton about the guy over the past nine months. Can't understand how and why so many people don't see it.

I really don't know the man, but reading his critics just looks like a lot of sour grapes.

Like Jeb Bush or Mitt Romney being the "losers". We have a grand sort of charade in play, that's been playing for over a hundred years of "progressive gradualism", and a lot of people have found one teat or another to feed themselves with on the creature. Lots of beads and boobs, like the Mardi Gras or something, a lot of people thinking this is the way to a better world. Except the premise is actually false, and the parade is not about mankind, but about a few elites having their way with the world. Then the populist demagogue comes along who can play the crowd better, and the mindless horde is mesmerized somehow.

The reality is a whole lot of people have realized that "the way things are" isn't going their way. Anybody who will see that, and get in front of it, is going to be their "hero".

This is the year the wheels have fallen off the Council of Foreign Relations plan for managing world affairs' "wagon". Brexit and Trump.

If you want to fix this, you gotta fix the plan.

How about the UN reorganize under a constitution that limits government powers and protects human rights, that declares itself, and becomes, a representative democracy with equal protection under the law, and that will particularly prosecute high government officials for misuse of powers of office.

A lot of ordinary people can see the difference between being managed, and being relevant.

You'd look a little more sensible to me if you could see the problems with government as things are. If this is all you have to be depressed about, you're out of touch with it all.

My only objection to #nevertrump is #whothen? Hillary is out of the question. Libertarians can only be spoilers, probably handing Hillary the race.

Trump will have to play ball if he wins. I don't see what the Jeb Bushes and Mitt Romneys are afraid of. When I hear Trump critics go on about his unsteady fingers hovering over the codes and the launch buttons, I see Hillary comfortably taking $140 M enabling Putin to control American uranium resources. . ..

I don't understand this fallacy. All polls that show Johnson in them hurt Clinton as much Trump. They wont hand Clinton anything, the R voting base did when they elected Trump as their nominee.

I agree with this.

If as many people voted for Johnson as told me that they WOULD vote for Johnson if they didn't worry about wasting their vote, then HE WOULD BE IN THE LEAD.

There's this huge, groupthink phenomenon where people think that if they voted for Johnson they'd throw it away. This needs to be broken, somehow.
