I might agree with this in a vacuum but there's a bigger picture to look at - namely saving the ****ing country.

Today could be the end of something or the start of something. If we don't create a path for politicians to walk back the nonsense they've been spouting then it will most likely be the latter. Not counting Trump and his crime family of course - they're irredeemable.

Today is the day to think what would Lincoln do.

I changed my mind over the next 4 years and participated in voting him out. So would you rather I still blindly vote republican in 2020?

I'm not saying the politicians who supported him and are just now switching sides should be welcomed with open arms. They have a much higher degree of accountability and knowledge. If people are now saying "****... look at this clown... looks like I was wrong." I'm not gonna throw it in their face. For some people it takes longer to get there.
