Eating healthy. Started going vegan two weeks ago. Feel so much better. I’ve walked every day a couple miles. Lifted. The improvements in just two weeks are great so far as how I feel and my strides in conditioning. If I “cheat” once every 4-5 days with an eggplant parm sandwich whose eggplant was likely coated with egg, I can live with that. But in general, I am trying to avoid meat, dairy and all oils as much as I can though I can live with heart healthy EVOO or Avocado oil if I have to. FWIW, this all stems from chest pains that were too constant. My cholesterol has always been insanely high for my age. It was 295 three years ago and the LDL’s were ~165. Both of those numbers are awful given my age and are presumably worse now. So with the chest pains and the idea of my kids being fatherless bringing me to tears some, I decided to do something about it. Hoping to kick *** with this and get bloodwork done in early April. If it’s still very high, I’ll give it another three months before getting tested again.
