Like ranking Cody over Collier is you just holding onto your completely made up idea of what Cody was from your draft takes when you convinced us he was going to be a taller SGA

Obviously the SGA thing for Cody was a loose comp and outlier outcome. Cody's supposed to be more like a 6'7" Latrell Sprewell, and that's after a few years of development. You can look up my posts on Cody in the draft thread. The Jazz also had Cody rated as a top-5 prospect, which is why they were happy to draft him where they did.

Teams are still going to value Cody over Isaiah at this stage, due to Cody's potential and his measurables. Collier has had some nice games over the past few weeks, but it's not enough to change his role or his outlook much in the bigger picture. The Jazz will happily draft a high-level lead guard in one of the next two drafts and make Collier a backup. Right now, the Jazz are trying to lose.

Flip/Sens are close and interchangeable for me, everyone else is in exact order.

1. Kessler - obvious

2. Key - Likely NBA rotation player and better chances at being starter than anyone below.

This is where it gets hard.

I think Collier has the best chance of being a starter out of the remaining players, but I actually think Brice and Flip are more likely to be NBA rotation players. Collier has a bigger range and it's because he can't shoot at all. I love the kid, but he's playing in a situation that is both a little fake and also perfect for him. He gets to have the ball all the time and play next to good offensive players that don't necessarily need or want the ball a ton. He would have to make massive improvements to warrant having the ball in his hands in a situation less ideal. He has a narrow role for success and you need to be really good to have that role in the NBA making it somewhat boom or bust. Brice and Flip don't have the two way potential to be high impact players that Collier could potentially be, but they have an easier time fitting around better players. But for the potential alone and giving him a S/O for his recent play I'll move Collier up to 3.

Maybe. The requirement for 6'3" guards is just awfully high. I could see Collier moving above Flip, but I just think teams are more likely to invest in the 7-footer with potential and workable touch. Like, what if Flip adds a solid 15 lbs, gets his 3pt shooting up 5% and figures out how to operate on an NBA floor. We're dealing with rookies, and future value is still largely based on development potential.

If Collier can show some in-between game, that would help too.

I mean, I really like Filipowski, but it's hard to see him as anything more than a nice backup vs Collier who has the tools to be a high level playmaker. It's easier to teach a guy how to shoot than it is how to play defense.

I really doubt Cody would get more than Collier on the open market at this point. Cody's lows are extremely low and his highs are basically non-existent vs Collier who has shown great highs.

I talk a lot of **** about keyonte but still every time I watch him play his physical tools, athleticism, great looking shot, swagger, etc stand out.
I still believe in him even though his production/box scores often tell me I shouldn't
