Anyway the record of Shokins corruption is clear. This article outlines some of them. It got so bad the Ukrainian people were protesting in the streets for his removal. But because he's saying things you like to hear, you find him credible. Checks out tbh.

There are penalties if he is lying under oath. Yes, I believe the court system is corrupt and that Shokin was corrupt. That whole regime has now changed. That doesn't mean everything Shokin says is discredited, and it doesn't preclude the possibility that Biden was also corrupt or that the Obama administration was party to the Russia-narrative scheme that many are saying originated in Ukraine. You may assert that this is some "right-wing conspiracy," but the Department of Justice is taking it very seriously. People in Ukraine are taking it seriously as well.

The fact that the DOJ is "taking it seriously" is itself part of this entire scandal. Not a lot of people around here who have much trust in Barr, and for good reason.

Exactly. Barr was implicated in an impeachable offense in the whistleblower complaint. Saying that the DOJ is “taking Biden’s alleged corruption in Ukraine seriously” only confirms the corruption of the DOJ stated the whistleblower. I don’t think trumpers are reading this correctly at all. This actually supports impeachment, it doesn’t support Biden’s alleged corruption. The DOJ has become compromised and is now working as yet another arm of the Trump crime syndicate

So you're saying the Justice Department, including Bill Barr and John Durham, are scandalously fabricating an investigation into the origins of the false Russia-collusion probe and counter-intelligence op in the FBI and CIA, with information being fed from Fusion GPS under contract to the DNC? That's obviously just a sham for you?

The good news is that adults and our legal system make judgements based on real evidence. Dems apparently haven't caught on to that yet.

Yes. Barr is nothing more than a hack. He’s sacrificed whatever integrity and whatever was left of his soul for one last sniff of the throne. He wrote a letter practically begging trump to hire him to save his presidency. He wrote the deceptive memo. And has now clearly been implicated by the whistleblower. The whistleblower’s complaint that has thus far been proven to be dead on. While Barr has been exposed.

So yeah, I trust the whistleblower much more than trump’s corrupt AG. I’m pretty sure most Americans do. Only the desperate trumpers repeating Q’s claims that soon the corrupt deep state will be revealed and massive arrests will ensue. They’re so desperate. Methinks they know deep down inside about trump. But their precious egos won’t let them admit it.

Yes. I saw something like this on Tom Nichols’ twitter today. Barr was the AG who covered up the Iran contra affair.



I remember reading that he has a Cheneyesk view of the “imperial presidency.” Cheney is known for having strong feelings about the strength of the executive branch. He developed these while serving in Nixon’s administration. He felt like Nixon never should have been compelled to turn over the tapes and had every right to use his powers to shut down investigations without any congressional oversight.

Likewise, Barr used his powers to shut down Iran contra, Mueller, and is currently (proven by the whistleblower) to be abusing his powers to manufacture dirt on Donald’s political opponents.

Edit: Again, trumpers are misreading this. The fact that Barr is taking “Biden’s corruption in Ukraine seriously”, only proves that he’s corrupt as hell and working for the Trump crime syndicate. It only proves the necessity to impeach.
