Trump is still president and that is not going to change. Many of you have acknowledged that there is little to no chance that the senate would convict. So what is the point of all of this?
You think that by impeaching Trump, then he won't get re-elected? You see all the support he gets everywhere he goes?

Impeachment is a stain on his record. Will it sway people? Some yes, some no.

He's a president with low unemployment and a successful economy.
It's hard enough to beat an incumbent. Pretty impossible to beat a successful one.
So it's pretty damn probable that he will be re-elected and you have 5 more years of suffering to look forward to.

The point of all this is having standards for the office of the president. Trying to hold presidents accountable for their actions and make them follow the rules of the Constitution.

I seem to remember Mueller saying that he found no evidence of collusion.

And even if he did, can you tell me that LAW that is against collusion?

Mueller found multiple instances of collusion, hence the dozens of convictions.

and you are just mad that your candidate didn't win.

I never wanted Obama to be president, but when he won, I got on with my life (getting rich!).
You see, no matter how bad of a president we get, I have full confidence that the constitution will endure. A lot of conservatives think that a Hillary election would have ended the country as we know it. I never thought that way.
The people of the US, the constitution, and our way of life here is stronger than any president. Yes, I do believe that there are many people who are actively trying to overthrow all of that. But they've been trying to do that for a very long time, and they have not succeeded and it is my conviction that they never will.
