I really hope the geniuses in the think tanks that help develop U.S. strategy on this stuff have a solution different than that.

I have no ill will for the people of Russia. I don't want to pull an Elizabeth Warren but my verbal family history is that my maternal grandfather claimed to be Irish but when my mother and her mother did some genealogy research they couldn't find evidence of that and found decent evidence that he was a Russian Jew. I'm led to the conclusion that when he came to the U.S. he made the decision that a very short alcoholic gambling addict plays better as an Irishman than a Russian Jew so he just went all the way on his new identity. So as far as I understand I'm 1/4th Russian of Jewish heritage.

Whatever happens to Russia will be a warning to the Chinese. You know the Russian people kind of deserve it, 600 years of subjugation to dictators, they've had about 15 minutes of democracy in their history and have ****ed it up both times for dictatorship.

A determination of crimes against humanity goes a step further, indicating that attacks against civilians are being carried out in a widespread and systematic manner.”
 
I don't think I've posted this before but this youtuber has become my favorite source for Ukraine updates. I highly recommend!
