So, The Miller family and the Utah Jazz aren't sending thoughts and prayers out to the families of the other seven on board? Nice.
Dude, who are you to judge. They havent even released any names of anyone else in the crash. You're criticizing a condolence statement, you need help

People can react to death however they react to it.

Let's all stop judging each other and just have our own reactions.

Well, let’s just say that I’m not the one who deleted/edited the post — so now I’m not sure if I’m a coward or not.

Awesome, right? You’re welcome.

I want you all to know how sick I feel agreeing with this STD, but he’s right.

My original post said nothing except my opinion, which doesn’t conform with what leadership thinks, and it was taken down. Kind of funny that I’m the one being called a coward.

Like I said before, one less cheating rapist in the world. Change the name Kobe Bryant with “insert local rapist” and tell me that I’m off base.

Labeling him a rapist is innc
I know you did — pretty damn weak if you ask me. Again, what exactly did I say that was just so horrific? Was it the “good riddance” comment? I’ll ask again - if I were talking about ANY OTHER rapist, would you have edited the post? Keep in mind that I have buried a daughter, and am well aware of the lifelong mourning and loss that the family will go through — it still doesn’t change the fact that he was a scumbag, and I’ll betcha it’s nice and toasty where he is now.

I mean, he's not technically a rapist. So, there's that. An adulterer yes, a rapist, no.

Wait, you believe he raped a woman, but everyone makes mistakes?

I have never raped a ****ing woman! I would be generous enough to posters here to assume than no one else on the forum has either.

And if this is not a good time to bring it up, when is? When can we talk about Kobe being a rapist?

There is a time and a place for such discussion, but this is not the time. It wasn't like he was a serial rapist like Cosby or Weinstein. From what I recall, the woman came freely to his room. Obviously, things got out of hand, and like I said he made a mistake. I have never raped a woman but there have been times I went farther than someone wanted. To judge his life on one mistake is not fair, and especially when something tragic like this happens, it is in very bad taste, and shows a lack of compassion, as well as arrogance, and while I'm not religious nor one to regularly quote scripture, there is much wisdom in the admonishment "to judge not lest you be judged."

One in the same, in my opinion.
Hardly. Rape is non-consensual. A huge difference. From what I recall, the woman freely began allowing liberties but when Kobe took it farther is when she began to object (at least from what I remember and I may be wrong). While he was at fault for this, I believe she shares some fault because of the mixed messages she gave. This is a common issue with rape, women giving mixed messages. While men should respect a woman's wishes, if she had allowed her clothes to be removed or removed them herself, what kind of message is she giving? I don't want to get into a debate about this but I think this is really a gray area that needs to be considered on a case-by-case basis.
