TURKEY-GERMANY : Nowitzki- Turkey

does anyone know if the nba teams are officially available to play preparation games? or they need the lockout contract to be signed

No any games during lockout. Teams can't even sign their free agents or draft picks so there can't be no games of any kind.

Not only that, but organizations can't even be in contact with their own players.

they say , there is a lakers gsw game in fresno next month, but i guess its a stupid rumour thats why i didnt get ticket, i guess many people already got ticket

i think enes' feet are pretty quick regarding his slow body. He was some flaws in his defense, but they are not fundamental flaws like in Boozer or Big Al, i think he will be much better once he gets game experience. He already proved he can bang with any big guy in the world

I like what I see from the game...

However, I still think that Kanter would be a PF on a contender - he's just too undersized to be a Center in the NBA...

I agree with him being a 4/5, but undersized? He measured 6-11" (yes, in shoes) and weighs around 260lbs. He'll often be shorter than the other teams center, but to say he's undersized is a stretch.

Kanter's not going to be a shot blocker, but so what? Dude holds his ground very well, and tries to play good team D. Yesterday, after Dirk missed a wide open three off a pick and pop, Kanter decided to let the guard go and stick with Dirk on similar plays, and it worked fantastically. His height shouldn't stop him from being an average or better defender if he's committed on the defensive end.

When it comes to big games against longer players like Gasol or Bynum, I disagree. This is no different than Memo who held his ground well and tried to play good team d. But when push came to shove, he simply didn't have the ability to truly challenge the offensive player whether that meant blocking a shot, altering one, or gaining any type of psychological advantage in the match-up.

Kanter may be listed at 6'11 (without shoes) and he may rebound at a very good rate in the NBA. But he doesn't appear to have the lift or play tall to truly challenge the best in the league. Against heavy-footed guys like Kaman and maybe Bogut, he may be okay. Against Howard, Bynum, the Gasols, and maybe a few others, I'm not so sure. The bottom line though is he's 19 so if you're someone like me, why worry. We have the luxury of time and a stable of bigs, specifically Favors, who I believe can play truly big at the 5 if Kanter can't.
