What Do We Do if we get no big name tree agents?

They’ve been in the tax in the past. They did it to resign Millsap.
Yes, briefly. Probably would have had a player and fan revolt had Millsap been allowed to go to Portland.

It certainly was never Larry H's MO -he said a few times his #1 goal was to finish in the black every year. And Lindsey's regime has been characterized by payrolls at/near the bottom of the league. Hell, even this year he eschewed every FA who ended up with a 1yr deal and saved money by replacing Jerebko with Niang - and selling the 2nd round pick.

There's even less of a likelihood of becoming a tax payer now. The penalties are a lot stiffer. Jazz will probably have Mitchell, Gobert, draft picks and bargain basement players.

Studs don’t want to sign here. So what’s your solution? Have Lindsey sign, and maybe even overpay, anyone else?
We overpaid for Boozer and Okur. Those are the types of FA's we need. I never counted on getting Kwahi, Thompson or Durant.

We'll almost certainly throw the max at Tobias. Barring that, we may need to give someone $15M who might only be getting MLE offers from other teams, for example. Or do something crazy, like trading a 1st for Mirotic. Oh sorry, certainly don't want a player who was lobbying to be traded to Utah. Instead we be trippin' with Grayson.

Portis, Bryant, Satoransky, Jabari (maybe), Ariza, and others are free agents. It won't be that simple considering that and that they also already have around 65M in Wall and Beal.
True but Portis is the most important of those guys. They might not match on a deal, but it would mean it was bad value.

How much would you offer?

Lol, no, just no. That wouldn’t have happened, because later we did let him go and the org moved on just fine.

After his death the org made it clear they would pay the tax if need be.

If I were as negative of the jazz as you were, I don’t know how I could continue being a fan. So, either you’re a none fan troll, or just a dumb troll.
