I vote Mitchell. Guy is for real. Rudy is great but he will never be an alfa dog leading the pack. No mid range game, no real post up game, no 3 pt shot, for him to be effective he needs guards to set him up. Just being paint protector is not enough in todays NBA when everybody is raining 3s. I think Jazz already figured that Mitchell is their best player and future leader of the team going forward - thus heavy minutes and trust.

Love both. . . but this is Gobert’s team. He’s our Ben Wallace. As he goes. . . so does the Jazz. Just glad that we somehow lucked into Donovan too, otherwise things would be bleak.

I know people are brainwashed to think it's the opposite, but an

elite scorer > elite defender

Glad we got them both, just lord let Rudy's knees and lower back be blessed by Zeus

I agree. And don't underestimate the lift DM brings every time he hits the court... the crowd gets going every time. Rudy is similar when he gets going. But Donovan does it offensively and defensively; he had four steals tonight.

People forgot how good Rudy is. Top 10 in the NBA.

Then again, during Rudy's rise, we had a poll on whether he'll be better than Duncan. And many thought he would.

My vote goes to Rudy because when he's on, it doesn't matter what 5 players are on the court. At this point though the sky is the limit for Mitchell.
