The two candidates to be cut are Kidd or Howard as they are the only two partially guaranteed players. The Jazz could cut someone like NWG, Oni, Bradley, Mudiay, or Niang though at a very low cost. Howard: Seems like he can really shoot and he seems longer/quicker than Niang. Kidd: Athletic and strong. Jazz might need some Royce insurance as well if he gets overpaid next year. NWG: Unremarkable backup PG. Seems like a good shooter though. Do the Jazz really need a 4th PG though, especially when they have so many other players who play quasi-backup PG? Oni: Don't see anyway he gets cut personally. Bradley: Doubt he gets cut since the Jazz only have two other centers. Mudiay: Doubt he gets cut with his potential and sizee Niang: Doubt he gets cut because of his locker-room presence and shooting ability. So overall I think there are two spots for Kidd, NWG, and Howard. And right now I'd probably cut NWG.
