How am I doing financially? Pretty damn well. I'm rich. I went to university and got a STEM degree and so I have a high paying job. Not only that, with this great economy, I am able to do sales on the side and almost double my salary.
A great economy doesn't mean everyone does well. The opportunity is there.
If you are lazy or stupid, that is your problem. No president can help that unless he gives you free money.
I have no sympathy for all the jerks in my high school who thought popularity and partying was the measure of success and are now poor and pathetic because they were living it up while I was preparing for my real life.[/QUOTE]

I'm sorry that you missed some fun in school surrounded by jerks. Lots of successful people party and learn and wind up being well adjusted (and even RICH!) people. And here you sacrificed all that preparing for your real life.

Trying to put words in my mouth. I had fun in High School, but I don't consider drinking and partying and getting my gf pregnant to be fun. Besides, I knew in High School that high school was a very small part of life, that college would be a whole lot better and that ultimately getting a good degree was extremely important.
