It's absolutely inexcusable. This is why Cuomo said it was like being on eBay, competing against other states. Just an incredible failing by the Trump administration. Profit for private companies comes before American lives. We must never forget what this monster has done.
Under trump, we are now so weak as a country that China is producing the medical supplies to bail our asses out and profiting handsomely in doing so. We knew this crapstorm was coming and did nothing until the market tanked, at which time it was too late.
We used to lead the world when other countries had disasters. Under impotent trump, we sit here with no leadership fumbling around as Americans die. Not even leading from behind, we are at the mercy of our adversary. Good thing IMPOTUS45 restored our manufacturing industry.

LOL .. now Dr. John Torres who's been telling people on NBC's nightly news for the past 3 weeks they don't need masks has been asked to explain on TV why the CDC is now advising people to wear them.

dude have you got actual evidence of the efficacy of masks in transmitting this thing ?? So many different reports. Here we're still being told not to bother.
WHO is changing their advice this week and so are the CDC, just look it up it's all online.
The short version is they had all initially said only wear one if you're infected (partly due to the shortage of masks), but the problem with that is it can take up to 5-14 days for people who are infected to show symptoms and some don't show any symptoms at all - so then these people could be spreading the virus without knowing. Hence it's best to just wear them regardless (at least a cloth one), at least it helps to stop spreading the droplets to those around you when you're talking of coughing.
Also there's evidence coming out now that shows that droplets can travel up to 6 meters from a sneeze/cough, meaning just keeping the 2m distance alone isn't going stop it from spreading.
At the end of the day it costs next to nothing to wear a mask (Except maybe your pride), but it could cost you a life you don't.
So yeah it's your choice @Douchebag K .

It's amazing to me that the idiots in this country that are always crying about fake news, at the same time watch their right wing propaganda and convince themselves that these are the people that are bringing them the truth.
