I think he stinks relative to his mock positions. I personally think he’s barely a top 20 dude.I don't think he stinks, but he doesn't seem like a Danny Ainge type of player. He's a slim, finesse player who needs to be in the right system.

PGs don’t have to be lead ball handlers.Having a lead ball handler who can shoot off the dribble is a HUGE plus for any team with playoff ambitions. Right now, teams will back off him.
Completely agree on Judah.I can see that, I guess. I think he's going to measure out around 6'3" - 6'4." As much as people criticize Keyonte and GG for their eFG% this year, NSJ falls in that same range while having less of a physical profile. Then you've got a guy like Judah Mintz who might go late-1st/early 2nd who might be a pretty reasonable value-pick version.
NSJ was considered a high-level prospect coming into college, and I think that's helping him, obviously.
He definitely has an "it" factorI have to admit I was impressed with NSJ today. I like the fire that he plays with.
Yes he does. He is the kind of player that plays better in the NBAHe definitely has an "it" factor
Idk about that. Just saying he doesn't lack confidence or desire.Yes he does. He is the kind of player that plays better in the NBA
Thats the point. He really cannot be put into any one category in a positive light for me. he is a mixed bag of skills offensively and nothing reliable enough to even suggest he is starter material as is, without a significant leap in p/r ball handling if he is going to be a point guard. And if not he needs a better jumper OR needs to be a Giddey type playmaker and he lacks both of those things as well.Even Giddey normally plays off the ball when Shai is on the court, and Giddey is an elite passer.
his numbers are impressive and he knows the game. I don't see NBA athlete at all though. He could be a Ty Jones for us so I get it, but I am not sure he can play defense well enough to even be that guy.Bump. Last 3 games:
14/10, 21/10, 22/14
6 total turnovers
34/6 AST/TO ratio
What a trash post. He's Dinwiddie or Hayes? Are we talking Anthony Black? Have you seen any of these guys play?Thats the point. I really don't get the love for him at all. I guess maybe the fact he is a solid rebounder and defender at 6'5 or whatever he is, should be enough to like him late teens early 20's. But going before that for me, is betting on him becoming something, he has shown little if any pro level upside of becoming because the floot offensively is meh role player.
I bet he is something like Spencer Dinwiddie or worse Killian Hayes if he is a point guard. I give him a slim chance of becoming a Giddey type playmaking rotation guard at best.
I clearly have watched him be bad at basketball more than you claim to have watched him pretend to be a good player. What a trash post. He's Dinwiddie or Hayes? Are we talking Anthony Black? Have you seen any of these guys play?
Black is elite at getting to the FT line despite playing on a team with terrible spacing. He's a high level defender, and he's definitely taller than 6'5.
Ok budI clearly have watched him be bad at basketball more than you claim to have watched him pretend to be a good player.
Trash posts are ones that come from know it all arm chair general managers like you sorry *** self, not from highly objective critics like me
Tony Jones said on Twitter today he’d be an amazing fit on the Jazz.. not sure why he said that.don’t really see the appeal in Anthony black.. does the NBA need another PG that can’t shoot the 3?
Size, athleticism, defense, upside, rim pressureTony Jones said on Twitter today he’d be an amazing fit on the Jazz.. not sure why he said that.
Yeah but shooting.. we don’t need another Elfrid Payton, or cater Williams, or Wade Baldwin.. the list is as long as …….. well it’s long.Size, athleticism, defense, upside, rim pressure
Would you have passed on Kawhi Leonard?Yeah but shooting.. we don’t need another Elfrid Payton, or cater Williams, or Wade Baldwin.. the list is as long as …….. well it’s long.
But didn’t Spurs have that shooting doctor that helped him?Would you have passed on Kawhi Leonard?
And how is Wade Baldwin being grouped in? He was a 40%+ shooter in college.
