FFS why do they have to be so enamored with a f****** specialist who can only do one thing on the floor
Yes and no. I mean we all realized it long ago. And they could have tried using different players yet never didThe fact that the FO recognized that our bench was not working and is actually trying to address and fix the situation is awesome!
I mean, you've got to make room for new guys somehow. Considering his last few contracts, Jeff Green isn't exactly a hot commodity in the NBA right now.Just to waive a guy though?
That’s not what’s baffling. What’s baffling is that we’re making these shakeups to try things that we could have at least tested the waters with, yet we hadn’t.I'm a little surprised at how baffled some of you are about the Jazz are shaking up the roster after we've all been experiencing how trash our second unit has been.
*edit* just saw Tony Jones tweet about getting more time for Niang. Um.
How could we have tested the waters with Rayjon? I don't quite understand what you are saying here. That’s not what’s baffling. What’s baffling is that we’re making these shakeups to try things that we could have at least tested the waters with, yet we hadn’t.
So just sit Green and play the guys you want to play, and then you still have him to play in case of injury or a form slump (not sure how you'd be able to tell that Niang was in a slump, but still...). Hell, there's a vacant doghouse at the end of the bench now, he could take that over.
I guess... I just don't see how this fixes much. We are now relying on dleague players. Hope to heck I'm wrong.I mean, you've got to make room for new guys somehow. Considering his last few contracts, Jeff Green isn't exactly a hot commodity in the NBA right now.

You trust Niang?I said that I wouldn't trust Jeff Green in the playoffs.
He didn't even make if that far.
No, this idea of waiving Green to five minutes to Niang and Brantley. We haven’t played Brantley at all. Why not play him before waiving Green? How could we have tested the waters with Rayjon? I don't quite understand what you are saying here.
Maybe, or we'll see lots of Niang and Royce at the 4. I'm happy rolling the dice with some good g league players, considering what out options at this point have been.I guess... I just don't see how this fixes much. We are now relying on dleague players. Hope to heck I'm wrong.
