Well, Uruguay advanced, Suarez is being suspended for 5+ games and then they drop out against Columbia in the eights finals.

I thought the crowd in Russia at Ice Hockey games was pretty intense.

Well to be honest they can only blame themselves. To lose to such a ****ty team like Greece....That's what happens when you play for a tie.

Suarez has been watching too much Brazilian tv. I think he was trying to give that Italian player a "beijinhino ombro." If you want to know what I'm talking about then youtube that... It has millions of hits. Or just watch it below

Keep in mind, Brazilian music is pretty good. But this person is trying to be the Lady Gaga of Brazil...

So one dude bit another dude and nothing happened. How exactly is that classic?
 
I would hope being there would be much more fun. Watching with my german friends, a few of whom are die-hard soccer fans that get kind of rabid, still just consists of 15 minutes staring at the screen, a burst of screams and jumping around, then 20 minutes staring at the screen again, repeat. I have fallen asleep during every game we have watched together. Thursday night should be more fun as we will be watching from a giant TV screen near Brandenburger Gate along with 100k+ other people (someone said they had 500k out there before, but that seems far fetched).
