the real issue with Lyles is that he is a child who gave up when the going got tough
And then DL never takes a phone call from you again. There are only 30 of these guys, and ruining a relationship will most likely come back to bite you later. DL may mention as much to other front offices and that turns into more teams not taking your call.
If I was Denver, I wouldn't do that, and it has nothing to do with hurting Utah.
Calmate amigo. It was said in jest.
Aye, I saw that Lyles had a good game. I was actually pretty high on him until he fell apart mentally last year. If he can ever figure things out he could be a decent player. I think what will always limit him to a bench gunner role is that he just can't play defense well enough on the perimeter or in the post to not be a huge mismatch for NBA level starters. Good luck to him, though. Even though he gloated a bit when Hayward left, I still will remember his bench antics fondly.
My current hypothesis is that Lyles sucks and that Mitchell is significantly, significantly, significantly superior to him.
I think both theories may be true... interesting. This is similar to my theory that Trey'd Lolz is a substantially weaker player than Mitchell.
