Here is some news about a former Jazzman: "Stanton Kidd signed with Hanopel Jurasaleum. In 21 games in Turkey he averaged 13,5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists after playing in Australia last season. "

I noticed the Jazz assigned Elijah Hughes to the Stars yesterday and the Stars picked up Josh Green on assignment from the Mavs. Green was a first round pick this year.

From what Tony Jones has said, it seems like it was down to Dok, Bane (starting and leading league in 3pt%), and McDaniels (in Minny's rotation and is showing potential, especially rim protection). But apparently their clear choice was Dok, so we just gotta hope for the best...
not sure what they were looking at when they picked Udo over him. but man... this kid could've so easily become the long term Royce upgrade at the 4 that we desperately crave...

This was a complete wiff on our part. Both Bane or McDaniels would be contributing or starting in the event of injury right now on the best team in the west.

Stars lost in OT despite having the lead late in regulation and with one minute in OT. Hughes did not play. Yogi and Scott had nice games for the Stars. Other than Yogi the Stars got nothing.

Huh? Why did you post this?

I was talking about Bane or McDaniels playing for the Jazz had we drafted one of them instead of Udoka. We majorly missed.

Yes the jazz screwed the pooch in the draft this year. Another Bradley/Burke/Lyles/DedEx. Yay.

Sometimes you swing and miss and that's what the Jazz did this year in the draft. They would have been better off just keeping the first round pick and drafting a Bane or McDaniels. Both Dok and Hughes look like they won't play the rest of the year.
