Toronto was intentionally his last visit so he could get showered with all this attention and look like an even bigger hero when he announces he's staying.
 
Jazz. He drove a Tahoe while making millions this guy is a simple man, and coming to Utah he'd be next door to Cali, and he can easily win a ring here.

Yeah, that's what we thought about Hayward meeting with the Jazz in 2017 as well. #stillbitter

What's this I heard about Drake also wanting to recruit Kawhi. Is he meeting with him also, or something?
 
All this delaying isn't helping the Lakers, who are missing out on free agents. I wouldn't be surprised if he's waiting for the Clippers to line up a move (like trade Gallinari) that affects his decision.

Yeah, Kawhi was taking FA meetings in LA. If he then flew back to Toronto, he's almost certainly staying with the Raptors and is preparing to make his announcement so the city can celebrate with him.

Didn't he announce early that he would be giving the Raptors a final pitch?
I don't read too much into this, but I guess the decision will be coming up shortly.
