Maybe .. but I'm not so sure. At least not the Utah fans I know .. the know NOTHING of cbb, nothing at all.
I know my Vandals are not good.

How didn't you know about Hayward? He had gone to two straight National Championship games.
wrong. And, how did you not catch this PKM?!? Maker's Mark again? haha
Also, of course I wasn't avidly watching the Verizon League (or whatever). And, even if I watched every second of his ONLY run through the tournament, I'd still claim that I didn't know much about him.... because that would be true.

I didn't want Hayward or George (primarily level of competition). I wanted Xavier.

Really? I think MOST NBA fans can't give 2***** about college bb. Sad .. but true.
Despite a lot of the flak that KOC takes, I would say that he and his staff have a good eye for talent and potential. Sure you get a few busts and head cases, but it would be interesting to see how he matches up with his peers over the course of his career.
they had championship quality teams, they just couldn't beat the refs.
Refs don't win or lose games players coaches win, and lose games. I don't believe in this kind of thinking.
I think he is clearly a good GM. Look how fast he has rebuilt the Jazz various times. He can clearly keep us competitive year in and year out. The question that remains (and so far has been a resounding no) is can he take the Jazz from contender to champion.
Is it unacceptable to go back and those that are saying that Hayward was the demise of the Jazz, and neg rep them?
Just need a second opinion.
