What's new

Stupid Pet Peeves

Pretty sure I only signed up for Tru-Green like six years ago because some cute *** 22 year old from Utah (who’s a Lakers fan) came to my door with her sales pitch. Not kidding.

Not sure if you are aware but you can take soil samples and send them away to have them tested, maybe even for free. You’ll be able to find out exactly what your soil levels are and therefore how to best treat your lawn.

How does the grass look?

What kind of fertilizer, how much, and how often?

Last time you thatched your lawn?
Parts of the lawn are ok, parts have really thick bladed grass with what looks like dead grass underneath that.

Don't recall the details on the fertilizer.

Never thatched, but I'm sure it needs it.

Yeah, I suck. I'm really liking this Tru-Green idea though.

Yeah, you should for sure thatch it, and for sure hire everything out. It costs, but your lawn will look nice. If I lived in the area I'd come out and give you a free consultation, buuuut I don't.

I don’t know how it is anywhere else, but in my neighborhood it’s apparently okay for people to have “outdoor cats” that just wander around ******** on people’s lawns and stuff.
If a dog drops one on a lawn, all hell breaks loose though.
