Speaking of Mr. Wallace. I have less concerns on the shot than I do about the playmaking. My gawd... the defense... you telling me Walker is covering the rim with this pest running around doing ****. Remember when playing in Utah was going to the dentist. It looks like such a pain in the *** to handle the ball around Cason.

Bufkin will only be 19 on the day of the draft.
He looks like Keyonte George, but if the ball went in more and the defense was good. Even if we got Wallace or Black I'd advocate for drafting him... think those guys might actually make a pretty good backcourt.

Hendricks or Wallace who you taking?

Right this second... I'm going to say straight up coin toss.

My issue is pg is a position of need and I'm not sure how we address it in the medium to long term. Take Wallace and find a stopgap vet? Just roll with Cason, Kris, THT and live with it.

And this is why I'd try and see if I could move up in the draft (does not have to be Ochai) An asset poor team like Dallas (if they end up 10th) or LA might bite on the Minny pick plus one more pick type of deal. Its a lot... but if you came away with Hendo and Wallace no one would ever score a basket on us again... ever.

Man... I think I dug in on Anthony Black too early... still love him and would be happy to have him... but I might push Wallace higher on my board. I think he is safer... just go with the Kentucky guard theory and roll with it.

Wallace should be able to do everything that Kris Dunn is currently doing, plus be an off-ball shooting threat.

except he is not a good shooter , but yeah at least he has a shooters stroke, unlike Black, so maybe Wallace will improve in that arena. But the kid is so overrated as a playmaker he aint in any way going 9th or 10th unless he hits 100% of his shots in an empty gym for DA and measures out with a +6 ws and over 35 max vert

Any chance Wallace is just the next Davion Mitchell? Biggest I'm worried about with Wallace is if he measures smaller than expected.

He's obviously bigger than Davion, but he might be more of a 3D guy like a Deanthony Melton than your primary guard, imo. Below are the stats from UK's Pro Day in November. Cason is listed at 6'3" with a 6'6" wingspan, an 8'4" standing reach and a 42" max vertical.
